SCENARIO

Art For Business Forum, promoted by Hangar Bicocca and Trivioquadrivio is the most important and central meeting of the project Art For Business.

In this second edition, the Forum' aim is to deepen the theme of art's value for company development and for the country's ruling class, therefore the social context and environment in which businesses are set up in Italy and Europe.

Keeping on last year effort, we want to give the opportunity to art and business worlds to come together and consider what could be the real reciprocal advantages of a union.

FORUM 2007

Thanks to the partnership with universities, companies and cultural associations, in November 2007 the first edition of Art For Business Forum took place.

Two days of debates, seminars, talks and workshops have liven up the Bicocca quarter of Milan, thanks to the participation of international personalities belonging to the world of the arts, culture and design toegether with company consultants, entrepreneurs and managers that have related about relevant case histories.

Art for Business is an absolute novelty in the Italian scenario, the first edition of the Forum offered to both public and professionals of the various categories the possibility to listen and interview entrepreneurs, managers, artists, thinker and science professionals, that have contributed to the combination of art and business from different perspectives and points of view. 

FORUM 2008

The second edition of Art For Business Forum will be held on November 13-14-15 2008.

Fulcrum of the Forum will be the presentation of the most outstanding cases of collaboration between art and business nationally and internationally.
The forum is also an opportunity of confrontation with important scholars, artists, curators as well as a valuable source of knowledge, experience and inspiration.

This year as well as the last, Art for Business Forum proposes various interactive experimental activities thanks to the creation of the Business Art Workshop.
They will be conducted by established artists, with the collaboration during planning from counselors/and experienced trainers of trivioquadrivio.
Within these interactive moments the participants will have the opportunity to experiment new ways of education addressing problems of managerial cut from a different perspective through steps designed by artists.

Starting from this edition, Art For Business Forum will partner with Art & Business International, with direct relations with Art & Business USA and Art & Business UK.

ART AND BUSINESS

The requirement of improving organisation effectiveness and efficiency has developed a need to integrate a new business development model to the old one developed by cultural institutions. This new model hints to add culture and artistic creativity values and sensitivity to business organisation and management development.

This project wants to open a serious and wide-ranging discussion on what art can provide in a company and its management. Starting from the production, involving communication, education, environment influences, moving until governance.

Art For Business offers a new creative idea, "thought in Italy", for the analysis of products, processes and management renewal.
